The Position:

We are looking for a full-time crew supervisor to lead and manage multiple crews and assist in applying long-term fire retardant on customers’ properties. Plan and execute applications ranging from small homes to large properties requiring thousands of gallons. Track inventory levels, equipment and fleet maintenance, fire retardant mixing operations. Relevant experience or a combination of experience that will apply to this position would be: Crew leadership ability, pump and hose lay operations, small engines, wildfire defensible space, and fire behavior knowledge a plus but not required, not opposed to working longer hours. Starting Salary: Range-based on experience: $70,000-$100,000

Requirements:

Looking for someone who has a positive attitude, great customer service skills, the ability to problem-solve, is a self-starter that is very hands-on and can learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Previous supervisor/ leadership experience is a must.

Equipment experience with pumps, hoses, fittings, holding tanks, etc. clean driving and criminal history, Planning and execution of jobs, ability to learn new skills.

Computer skills, preferably knowledge of iPad, email, Microsoft Suite, and Google calendar.

Communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work well with a team are a must.

Responsibilities:

Will communicate directly with scheduling to complete home applications on residential and commercial
properties. Supervising employees, ensuring safety standards are met and quality control will be a part
of the daily responsibilities. This position will require traveling to jobs throughout the Bay area, east bay,
south bay, north bay, Santa Rosa, and Napa/Sonoma Valley to complete the application of long-term fire
retardant. During the off-season, you will be expected to assist in next year’s planning, keeping
equipment in good working order, and have the opportunity to help grow the business. Coming into a
new season you will be an integral part of the hiring process for the seasonal crews.

The nature of a small business requires flexibility to help the team as needed and may be asked to
occasionally support other areas and team members of the company.
